Anna Juszczak

An interdisciplinary visual artist. She works with spatial objects, sculpture, installation, and drawing. She combines image with word or sense. She is interested in questions of space, memory, borderline situations, and the visualization of emotions and experiences.

She often links her artistic activities with medical themes. An artist working in many media: glass, wood, clay, paper, metal.

She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and at the Universitatea de Artă şi Design in Cluj-Napoca (Erasmus). In 2018, she obtained her PhD from her alma mater. She has received the Scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the T. Kulisiewicz Scholarship, and the Creative Scholarship of the Mayor of the City of Krakow.

She has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including "Glow" Piana Gallery, Krakow, "The Earth Becomes Harder After the Rain" Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology, Krakow, "Weltschmerz", BWA Wrocław, "BADGOOD" – Shefter Gallery, Krakow,  "What is Most Fragile" Galeria Nocny Art Patrol, Warsaw

She lives and works in Krakow.
