Mozi is a Gdynia-based design and art studio creating art installations, spatial objects, sculptures, furniture, and ceramics. DNA founders Monika Gradzik and Ziemowit Liszek are creators professionally and personally connected with the Tricity. The studio grows from the conviction that good design is born at the intersection of craftsmanship, experiment, and respect for the material. For us, the boundary between design and art is arbitrary, and we often deliberately cross it.

Gdynia – a city open to the world, modern and free – is not just our workplace. It is a source of inspiration and a starting point for cooperation with local creators, which we treat as a natural part of our practice. We carry out every project from start to finish in our own workshops: carpentry, metalworking, ceramics, and 3D printing. Thanks to this, we control every stage of the process from the sketch, through the prototype, to the finished object, without compromising on either precision of execution or high-quality materials. We combine traditional craft techniques with modern technologies, eagerly reaching for non-obvious material and technological solutions. For us, artistic practice is as important as design; we treat art as a space for experiment that feeds all our work.
