Magdalena Pela (b. 1989) - visual artist, painter. She graduated from the Faculty of Painting and the Interdepartmental Doctoral Studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. Graduate of Cultural Studies at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Gdańsk. In 2022, she was awarded the title of Doctor of Arts. She works as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Painting at her alma mater.

Multiple winner and finalist of national and international painting competitions. Author of solo exhibitions, including at the Promocyjna Gallery in Warsaw, the Gdańsk City Gallery, the BWA Municipal Gallery in Bydgoszcz, the Bardzo Biała Gallery in Warsaw, and the EL Gallery. Pela's paintings are in numerous private collections and in the permanent collection of the National Museum in Gdańsk, the European Solidarity Centre, and the NOMUS New Art Museum.

Creator of the Table of Good Words, which was developed as part of the "GOOD WORD / BAD WORD" project of the European Solidarity Centre.
