Agnieszka Rowińska is a visual artist living and working in Poland. She works in the fields of painting, installation, and lightboxes. In 2016, she completed her master's degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In her practice, she explores issues of perception, memory, and the relationship between what is visible and what remains beyond direct access. Working in both painting and spatial media, she is interested in moments where image, matter, and atmosphere begin to intertwine. Her works have been presented in solo exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including in Berlin, Italy, and Iceland. She has also participated in numerous group exhibitions and festivals, with a particular focus on light-related events such as the Reykjavík Winter Lights Festival and the List í Ljósi Festival in Iceland, as well as exhibitions at the Leto Gallery in Warsaw and the CICA Museum in Korea. She has participated in many international artist residencies, including in Iceland, Germany, Italy, the Philippines, and Macedonia. In her latest projects, she develops her painting practice towards spatial installations, often using organic materials and light to create environments that engage the viewer's perception.
