Kuba Swiecicki
Born 1995 in Kielce
Designer of functional textiles and computer embroidery. Graduate of design (2018) and fine arts in the field of functional design (2020) at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, as well as the Doctoral School of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (2025). Member of the Nów New Craft association. From the academic year 2025/2026, employed as an assistant at the Faculty of Art of the Jan Kochanowski University. For many years associated with the Design Institute in Kielce, where he runs the Textile Studio, and since March 2025 has been serving as the artistic director.
He works at the intersection of fiber art, craft, and design, focusing on projects of an inclusive, sustainable, and social nature. He has participated in artistic and design residencies in Poland, China, France, Lithuania, Norway, and Hungary, and has also taken part in dozens of exhibitions (group and solo) both in Poland and abroad – including in Kraków, Warsaw, Lima, Bogota, Sofia, Bergen, and Shanghai.
His works are in private and public collections, including the Craft Museum in Krosno, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and the Swatch Art Peace Hotel.
